So comfortable! July 9, 2022 Reviewer: Laura from OHIO United States   As the only Western Dressage rider in a mostly Eventers barn, I've been struggling to find my "look". I ordered a pair of Full Seat Jeans for my first in-person show.  I was pleased to look "western" for the show. Great product! So comfy! (Cellphone pocket is great! I almost rode my test with the phone in my pocket because it is hardly noticeable.) Telling my other Western Dressage rider friends about this option. Was this review helpful to you?

Full seat jeans April 20, 2022 Reviewer: LORI from GERMANTOWN, OH United States   I show western dressage. These are my go to jeans! I’m also a type one diabetic. The thigh pocket for my Iphone is perfect. The app for my Dexcom G6, which monitors my blood glucose numbers, is on my phone. I can’t hide a giant phone in other brands of jeans and that makes my medical condition more difficult. I have tried putting my cell phone in the pockets of other jeans and ended up getting a bruise on my hip bone from the phone bouncing around. So not only do these jeans make riding easier by being super comfortable and full seat, but they make my medical conditions easier to control when I’m at a show or just in my everyday environment. I show at the local, regional and National level. I need to function at 100% and these jeans allow me to do it!! Highly recommended! Was this review helpful to you?

My riding friends always ask where I got my jeans January 29, 2022 Reviewer: Nan Newton from Santa Fe, NM United States   This feels like the last mom and pop business in the world.  Desiree Johnson makes and sells jeans to make riding one's horse comfortable.  And if you have a question she actually responds herself.   These jeans feel good, and look good.  They rise in the back a bit so they dont feel yanked down when one is in the saddle.  They have a slot pocket which holds a cell phone.  And they wash fantastically getting better with age.    And if you order the right length, they fall at the boot perfectly.   I so recommend this product and this business. Review for Smooth Stride riding jeans January 17, 2022 Reviewer: juelie dalzell from ,   I booked a trip to a dude ranch in Arizona and didn’t want to show up in my English garb.   Blue jeans of course are the go-to western wear but those seams on the inner thigh and the unforgiving waist of jeans made that choice untenable. I bought a pair of Smooth Stride jeans.  They look like blue jeans but I rode for hours in a western saddle every day for a week and was completely comfortable.  No inseams and good fit in the waist make these jeans optimal riding apparel.  They now have a place in my riding wardrobe whether I am riding English or Western.  Thank you so much Desiree Johnson for the GREAT DESIGN.  I might also add the customer service was awesome.  Desiree made sure I had the proper fitting jean before I left for my trip.  I highly recommend this product. Amazing Jeans November 18, 2021 Reviewer: Sue Crawford from Prineville, OR United States   I saw the ad on FB and liked the reviews, so I  put aside $5 a week for 9 months.  When I had money in hand, I re-visited the reviews and decided to purchase them. Have never been happier with a purchase. Best fitting riding  jeans EVER!! They wash and dry like a dream, still look brand new!! Quality fabric with just the right stretch. durability/ comfort/safety October 19, 2021 Reviewer: kerry young from Eustis, FL United States   I owned my first pair of smooth strides for several years and they never lost their shape or durability through countless rides and washings. Extremely comfortable, they were my go-to pants. They probably would have lasted even longer if the paramedics had not had to cut them off my broken leg! That was the day I discovered just how valuable that thigh pocket is. Reaching my cell phone handily, I was able to call for help within minutes of my fall. Had my cell phone been in my pommel bag as it used to be, I would have laid on the trail until missed, long after dark. After a lengthy hospital stay, buying my next pair of smooth strides was made much easier with the colt option. Having lost considerable weight, I had no idea what size I would be and having two to try at once netted me the perfect replacement pair. Love These! October 19, 2021 Reviewer: Nancy Gallion from Double Oak, Texas   I started wearing these jeans several years ago as they were at an Equine Affair in So Cal.  I bought the full seat and regular seat (plain).  They are so comfortable.  I wear them riding and out and about and always get compliments on them.  They are just made really well.   These jeans are a must have in your wardrobe!   Best jeans I ever had!!! The full suede seat really keeps me secure in my western saddle but isn’t “sticky”. The cell phone pocket is wonderful. The jeans fit perfectly and have just the right amount of stretch - they’re the most comfortable pair of jeans I own. They wash beautifully. The unexpected bonus is how good they look! I get nothing but compliments on them - even from non-horse people! They are worth every penny. I used the “Colt Option” to try 2 different sizes. The jeans arrived with prepaid return shipping and was super easy. Customer service went above and beyond to help me with sizing. I like them so well that I ordered a pair without the full seat!
